How To Apply UV DTF Stickers
How to Apply UV DTF Stickers:
-
Clean the Surface:
Wipe down your item with rubbing alcohol or soap and water to remove dust, oil, or residue. Make sure it's completely dry before applying the sticker. Works best on smooth, hard, non-porous surfaces like glass, plastic, metal, or ceramic. -
Peel the Backing:
Carefully peel off the white backing paper, leaving the clear transfer film with the printed sticker attached. Take your time to avoid tearing or folding. -
Align and Press:
Position the sticker exactly where you want it on the surface. Once placed, you can't reposition it—so align it carefully. Press it down from the center outward to prevent bubbles. -
Rub It In:
Use a squeegee, credit card, or your fingers to firmly press the design onto the surface. Rub over the entire sticker several times, especially around the edges, to ensure full adhesion. -
Peel the Transfer Film:
Slowly peel back the clear transfer film at a sharp angle. If any part of the design lifts with the film, press it back down and rub again. -
Cure Time (Optional):
For best results, allow the sticker to cure on the surface for 24 hours before washing or heavy handling.
