Ship A Griff FAQ
Shipping Insurance FAQ (Ship-A-Griff)
Q: What is Shipping Protection?
A: Shipping Protection is an optional insurance add-on that covers your order in case it is lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping. If something goes wrong, we’ll either replace your items or issue a refund—quickly and hassle-free.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Shipping Protection is tiered based on your cart total. It typically ranges from $0.99 to $9.99 depending on the value of your order. The fee is shown as a separate line item at checkout.
Q: Do I have to purchase Shipping Protection?
A: No! You can remove it from your cart during checkout if you prefer not to include it. Just click the "Remove" or trash icon next to the protection line in your cart.
Q: What if I don’t purchase it and my order is lost or damaged?
A: If you opt out of Shipping Protection, you will need to file a claim directly with the carrier (USPS or UPS). We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged orders that declined protection.
Q: How do I file a claim if something happens to my package?
A: Fill out this form HERE within 7 business days of the estimated delivery date. Please include your order number, tracking number, and photos (if applicable). Most claims are resolved within 2–5 business days.
Q: What is not covered by Shipping Protection?
A: We do not cover:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses entered by the customer
- Packages marked “delivered” with no visible signs of theft
- Delays due to weather, customs, or carrier disruptions
- International taxes, customs fees, or duties
Q: Can I use this coverage for international orders?
A: Yes, but please note that we do not cover customs delays, duties, or taxes. Coverage only applies to loss, theft, or damage during transit.
Q: Is the protection fee refundable?
A: Once your order has shipped, the protection fee is non-refundable—even if the insurance was not used.
